RH Jones: Constitutionality of new funding system for Ohio's schools

Note: The ODE is conferencing Nov. 12 -15 to hold a panel discussion of a constitutional amendment to support a new funding system for Ohio's schools.

My thinking is that: Why should they waste their time? With an Ohio Supreme Court that wrongly votes 4-3 holding that charter or community schools are constitutional; and, they traditionally ignore the constitution concerning adequate common school funding; What makes the ODE think the majority of four judges will not just ignore the passage of any new laws supporting new school funding?

These four dissenters need to properly support the public will! They have not, and are not doing, that. And we -- the public -- need to let them know our outrage! Undoughtedly, they are currently ignoring the voters message of the recent Nov. 7 election, as well.
