Jim,

All STRS members have been helped because of your research and dissemination regarding the bonuses at STRS (PBI System).

The STRS Board acted on Friday to put in place parameters regarding receiving bonuses during times of losses to STRS investments. That would not have happened if you had not done all of the work to share what was taking place during the worst recession since the Great Depression. Section 3 of H.B. 177, put the STRS Board on notice that they were not fulfilling their fiduciary responsibility. Your efforts have made a difference.

Please consider running for STRS Board again as well as continuing your monitoring of STRS activities. STRS members are just beginning to get to know you and your efforts on their behalf.
