Hello Bob,

Congratulations on your election to the STRS Board! I believe you will become a board member that will ask the many necessary questions that should and need to be asked of the administration, as has Dennis Leone.

I also believe that you have the ability to get much accomplished during your tenure on the board. However, this will depend on how effectively you are able to persuade the other members to look at your point of view and support it. That in my opinion will be difficult, because so few of them have an adequate knowledge concerning business and finance.

Further, because they are so engrossed with their own narcissistic thoughts and reasons for being there, it does not seem to even be within their capability to recognize that they are incompetent board members.

Your efforts in gaining this win were outstanding. Your comments, your web page and your unique way of looking at the facts are to be commended.

I personally feel very satisfied that the support so many retirees were willing to offer you resulted in the large numbers you tallied.

It is my hope that Jim McGreevy will work with you more closely then his union compatriots to bring about some much-needed reform at the STRS. Time will tell.
