Dennis,

All STRS members have to be eternally grateful for your tenure on the STRS Board. The recent action on Friday, to place parameters on PBIs (bonuses) for STRS staff is a perfect example of your leadership. Thank goodness for Craig Brook's second!

What is unfortunate, is that each success has been accomplished with much resistance and downright obstinence from other Board members. I think that the Huffman H.B. 177 sent a clear message in Section 3 to STRS Board members, as well as, Mr. Nehf and Mr. Mitchell, that they were not fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities. That message opened the door for possible legal action by the Legislature, in my mind.
