Have you heard the facts?

From election@fixmypension.org

#1 OHIO TEACHERS HAVE THE WORST DEAL IN THE COUNTRY.

The Wisconsin Legislative Council completed a comparative review of every public pension in the United States. CONCLUSION: STRS Ohio is the only public pension in the country that has a negative normal employer cost, which means Ohio teachers contribute more than the value of their pension.

#2 Boston College Center for Retirement Research (CRR) never refuted the CONCLUSION above, even though STRS has sent numerous emails suggesting otherwise.

According to the Assistant Director of Communications of CRR, “The CRR did not reach out to confirm or refute the findings.”

Why is STRS lying to you?

#3 STRS COMPENSATION IS THE HIGHEST IN THE COUNTRY

It’s impossible to justify paying $10 million in annual bonuses to the highest compensated public pension staff while Ohio teachers have the worst deal in the country.
