Shirlee, thank you, you saved me an email. One has to understand that the associates (employees) of STRS also have a "window of opportunity" in which to change their coverages. I find it hard to believe that this window hasn't yet opened -- VERY hard to believe. And, with an open window, changes and their related premiums HAVE to be made available to the staff and should be made available to the STRS stakeholders without delay. I detect an odor of footdragging in the air it has grown stronger as the weeks go by! John

Dear Damon:

Mr. Curry and I have been asking for the staff premiums and health care benefits for more than two months now. Your answer is always "not ready yet," "in two weeks," "next week." Well, this is next week! This is the end of November, four to five weeks before the start of the new year.
