Hello All,
I was told by Damon (email below) in August that the study is be completed by Buck Consultants this fall. This is the same Buck Consultants that did the prior study and validated the go ahead for SB190. So, they will be addressing issues they sent forward when they approved such. I am not so sure that they should be the firm to evaluate whether it has been instrumental or detrimental to our funding problems. It will be interesting to read that report.
This is the same Buck Consultants John Lazares attempted to make a motion concerning the curtailment of doing business with for providing gratuities to the STRS staff. Buck will undoubtedly be brought into question when the remaining indictments are brought down by the prosecutors.
I have sent a request to Damon this evening asking for an update. I have also copied that to all of the CORE leadership and the entire board.

Hello Damon,
This is a follow up request for an update to your email response to me of August 29, 2005. This was concerning the presentation of the study to have been completed this fall by Buck Consultants to determine the effects of SB190 on our retirement system after 5 years of being in force. Where does this stand at this time? Has the study been completd? When will it be presented. I would assume it will be presented at the December board meeting, as you stated it would be done and presented this fall to the board and it has yet to be presented.
