WHY IS OUR ILLUSTRIOUS STRS STILL DOING BUSINESS WITH FRANK RUSSELL?????

John Curry: June asks a great question:Why are we still doing business with those who have (Sidaway conviction is proof) engaged in unethical acts? Why?

HOORAY!! Now for another subject but related............ Why, I strongly ask why is STRS still doing business with Frank Russell Corp? They advised buying property in Florida then our retirement system took a $700,000 loss when it was sold? We sold a big commercial building for cheap money? Excuuuuuuuuuse ME!!!! How can this company be trusted to be above board with everything? And again I ask, WHY is STRS still doing business with them? Didn't I read they were being used again for investments? June

BECAUSE when John Lazares brought up (quite a while ago) NOT doing business with those who have committed Ethic violations, the board would not go along with it. One of the women (some one help me here....Fisher?) said that they should not let them stop doing business. AND as usual when brought up by John or Dennis, their motion was outvoted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps, that needs to be brought up again and the board needs to hear from retirees about continued business with those who have not played fairly!!!!!!!!!!

What say you, retirees???????
