Subject: New appointment to State Teacher Retirement System Ohio

Dear Senator Jordan,

Congratulations on your recent election to the U.S. Senate. I am certain that you will work hard for the issues that face our nation and will continue to use your strong faith and convictions in your voting.

As you know, many retired educators in Ohio did not support several of the Republican candidates for Ohio offices. Ms. Montgomery and Mr. Petro, in the opinion of many, dropped the ball monitoring the actions of the STRS. In fact, their representatives voted with those that were indicted for corruption.

Now is the time that the Republican Party can regain trust. Please ask Sen. Pres. Harris and Speaker of the House Husted to appoint Tom Hall to the STRS Board in place of Geoffrey Meyers, who has resigned. Dr. Hall is a professor of economics and investment at Miami University. His appointment will solve 3 issues:

1. An expert in investment which is needed to monitor and assist the investment department.

2. An active teacher with knowledge regarding the STRS issues.

3. An honest and common sense individual that will ask questions and listen to the answers.
They combine for one appointment.
