Subject: STRS response to Public Records Act request re. credit card use by Board members

CORE members,

I received this letter from William Neville, the STRS General Counsel, in response to my October. 30 request to Damon Asbury for STRS Board members' expenditures (not all members have credit cards nor desire them) since Jan. 1, 2004. This attachment contains the reply I received.

It should be noted that a similar request concerning STRS Board members credit card use WAS complied with recently. That similar request was made by an OEA-R member, Gary Hollow. A request to Gary for a copy of his public records request was emailed to Mr. Hollow and - to date - I have received no reply. I will also "type" the letter below in case you are unable to read the attachment.
