Subject: questions

After replies to my letter concerning even number of people on the board and whether the chair is allowed to vote, here is what I have.

An even number board is alright as long as there is not a tie vote.

School boards have always allowed the chair to vote and whether or not it is a violation of Roberts, STRS has always done it that way. They may have a special rule that differs from Roberts. I have known for some time that the board does have a few rules of procedure differing from Roberts

I will not question this further. .
