Subject: More E-mail addresses--this time for the state senate

Hello again all,

Here is a list of e-mails for the Senators, the same as the one for the House. Listed by Name, party affiliation city of residence and whether or not they sponsored Senate Bill 161, which is a divestment bill aimed at the "liberals" since it is the Sudan Genocide that we are being forced to "stop." This is just an attempt to broaden the base for from the "terror industry" and its appeal to fear. Now they seek to portray themselves as sympathetic to human rights abuses, when it is still really all about the money. As you can see, I have indicated the sponsors of SB161, again in magenta. Feel free to express your feelings to them, particularly if they are your representatives. I would not be gentle. As for the others, you should probably write something appealing to the fact that we public retirees depend on maximum returns for our health care and that for most of us (including me) our PERS retirement represents most, if not all of our life savings. I would suggest the last line of your letter to uncommitted legislators be something like the following. "You have the welfare of a million public retirees and employees in your hands. That is a heavy responsibility and many people depend upon you to look out for the welfare of the people and not the privileged few." Try to let them know, in a non confrontational way, a million pairs of eyes (ours) will be watching what they do.
