Dear Ms. Hanning:
I read your information about the federal stimulus checks on your website and became upset as have some other Ohio teacher retirees. It is incorrect as reported by an investigative reporter. There may be a few older retirees who are not eligible because they do not make the threshold amount needed. These retirees need help from ORTA in order to be able to receive that check. They are the ones who need it the most. ORTA exists to be the spokesperson for retired Ohio teachers. Well, speak up for us!
ORTA's lack of support for Ohio retirees is why I refuse to join the state organization.
