Nancy Hamant: Another reason CORE must continue to be a watchdog at STRS

To All,

I cannot remember which one -- either Bob Slater or Steve Mitchell (STRS Investment) -- stated that an actuarial study was NEVER completed as to the impact of the SB 190 88% calculation! THAT TO ME IS A CLEAR VIOLATION OF FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILITY! CORE repeatedly asked Damon Asbury for the results of such a study and apparently there are no results. Another reason why CORE must continue to be a WATCH DOG of the STRS fund, as well as, inform the Ohio Retirement Study Council of CORE's deep, deep concerns about STRS actions.
