Dear Ann:
My wife and I are lifelong Republicans who have occasionally voted for a Democratic candidate when it was necessary. We are so fed up with the Republican Party in Ohio that we will be voting for Strickland for governor and Dennis Shreefer for 4th district state representative. Dennis was a great help to our ACRTA chapter when he was a radio talk show host and supported us all the way. He has promised to really make some changes when elected.
We have not made decisions yet on other candidates.
It is time for the ORTA board members to get off their behinds and endorse Strickland and Shreefer for these offices. When we look at the graft and pollution that Republican members have done it shows a dirty picture. Strickland is the only candidate who makes any sense.
How about it? I am sure that if you were to survey your membership today that there would be an overwhelming response to supporting Strickland. IF ORTA WANTS TO REMAIN A VIABLE INSTITUTION, IT IS TIME TO LISTEN TO YOUR MEMBERS.
