Subject: STOP HB 700 NOW

Dear Ms. Reidelbach,

Please do everything in your power to block the hearing (and subsequent vote) on HB 700 before Thursday morning. If it goes through, it will have a HUGE negative impact on two of the state's pension systems (STRS and SERS), and you can expect to one day see many thousands of us retirees on the state's welfare and Medicaid rolls, which are strained as it is.

If passed, HB 700 will destroy both of these systems; you and every other working person in the state will be supporting us. It is painfully obvious that Mr. Blasdel, an investor in his private life, wishes only to line his own pockets at the expense of retirees by promoting this bill. HE SHOULD BE RUN IN ON ETHICS CHARGES FOR INSERTING THIS INTO HB 700.
