Molly Janczyk: Update on John Lazares

Subject: John Lazares

Just talked with Tricia Lazares.

John's surgery is scheduled in 4 weeks. The Dr. said his staph infection was low grade and confined to the site. (Coagulase negative). It is expected to fully heal. They will go to the infectious disease Dr. Thurs. who is monitoring this as well.

Tricia said all the prayers are working. John is a bit more alert this week and the pain is not as intense as last week. He is resting better. His goal is to try walking with the walker down the hall soon as he has only been up as nature calls.

Tricia was happy that she could see bits of improvements from last week when he was not very alert and still in much pain.

Hopefully, this means that the infected site is healing.

Tricia is so grateful for everyone's concern, thoughts, and prayers. She relates all to John who is very touched.
