Paul Boyer to Dale Van Tyne: ORTA vendetta? What's going on?

Subject: District vote

Dear Dale: I am extremely upset after hearing how you butted into the election for the District Director in which Clark County is located (I believe that is District III) with the intent and action of keeping Sam Ridder from being elected to the position. Granted, you are a past president but you have been out of office over at least the past entire year and you have no right to call people and tell them not to vote for a certain person or to vote for the person you want to be director.

There needs to be a shake-up in ORTA if ORTA is going to stay in business. CORE has been accused of trying to take over or do away with ORTA and there is absolutely no truth in this. We are simply asking for ORTA to bring your organization to the point where you are willing to work with us. Most of the things we want are the same things you want.

Nothing is ever going to work if some of you ORTA officers keep doing things to keep from having our people in places where they can do something about this.

You and I have had a few discussions before when you were president and I wish now that you would sit back, rest on your laurels, and let the elections be run in a democratic manner.

Thanks for your attention.
