Dear Dr. Zelman,

My name is Duane Tron and I am immediate past president of the Champaign County Retired Teacher's Association and presently serve as legislative liaison. We are concerned about the failure of Mr. Puckett to fairly and adequately represent Ohio's retired teachers. We feel that in lieu of Mr. Puckett's ongoing disregard and apparent disdain for retirees, and our concerns, that you remove him as your representative on the STRS Board. His presence has become intolerable and a liability to you and your credibility as the top educator in the State of Ohio. We respectfully request you remove him from this important post as soon as possible and replace him with someone who will be more proactive, informed, and friendly toward retirees.
