John Curry: Labor Day and "The Other CORE" - A time to reflect

On this day set aside for those who work for a living comes a time to reflect upon a struggle of another group of retirees who are fighting (as are we STRS retirees) to obtain justice. Just as we retired public educators are fighting the fight against the past and current entitlement philosophy which exists at Ohio STRS our counterparts (support workers) at the OEA are engaged in the same battle just a stone's throw down the street at the OEA building. Maybe it is time to revisit OR pay an initial visit to the situation that continues with those former workers at the OEA. Below is a page from the CORE of OEA website that I am sure many of our CORE readers have never seen. These retiree support workers are also "fighting the fight."
