Kathie Bracy to Susan Zelman: PUCKETT MUST GO!!!!!

Dear Dr. Zelman,

I wrote to you in July about your representative to the STRS Board, Steve Puckett, requesting that you replace him because of his abominable performance on the Board. I have had no response from you, so I am trying again.

Dr. Puckett's actions reflect no real concern for the plight of retirees. He opposes every action that would help us. He initiates absolutely NOTHING that would help us. He approves spending measures that HURT us. He does not communicate with us; never offers any explanation for any of his actions. WHY IS HE THERE??? And why do you ALLOW him to continue in this reprehensible manner? His performance reflects very poorly on you and hurts all retirees. You must find someone who has retirees' interests at heart to replace him, NOW.

Dr. Puckett is part of the PROBLEM, not the SOLUTION. Please -- get that man OUT OF THERE!!!!!
